Family Connection invites you to be a part of recognizing and celebrating the potential of all children with special needs. Because Family Connection is a nonprofit organization, we rely on the good will of volunteers and donors for our continued success. By arming the parents and families of these children with emotional support and informational resources, we can all help to ensure that children with disabilities in South Carolina have the family support they need.

Here are just some of the ways you can become involved with Family Connection. Please call your local office to help today!

Become a volunteer
Your support as a volunteer is an integral part in the success of Family Connection. Without your help, many families would not be able to participate because of difficulty in finding childcare. Providing compassionate volunteers to care for their children during support groups and respite cooperatives allows parents to participate. You can help make a difference through our many volunteer opportunities, including respite cooperatives, office assistance, support group childcare, expos/conferences, family socials and speakers bureau.

Become a donor
With more than 360,000 chronically ill children in South Carolina, the need for family support is prevalent. Family Connection needs your help to ensure that all families in need have the opportunity to receive information and emotional support from someone who has been there. Please mail your tax deductible gift to Family Connection and help make the "connection." Your support is greatly appreciated.

Be a Bi-lo Booster
The Bi-Lo Boosters program is a great way to support Family Connection. You can now use your Bi-Lo Bonuscard to make regular donations to Family Connection. One percent of your purchases will be given back to our organization!  Signing up is as easy as 1-2-3: 

1.  Obtain a scan form from Family Connection by calling 1-800-578-8750 and asking for a BiLo Booster form.

2.  Give one of the enrollment scan cards on the form to the cashier the next time you shop.  You will be charged $1 to enroll.  That $1 plus a .50 match from Bi-Lo will come back to us.  Sign up NOW to have your purchases eligible for boosterplus donations at the beginning of next month. 

3.  Each time you shop at Bi-Lo and use your BonusCard, the amount spent will be credited to our organization.  Bi-Lo will donate 1% of the total purchases accumulated by our organization.
