Sarah is a caring young woman, who enjoys listening to music while living an active lifestyle. The 20-year-old has participated in various sports throughout her life, including being a cross-country star for six years, a soccer player for two, and playing basketball and bowling. Sarah has also been competing with Special Olympics for over 12 years and participates with her local chapter of Females in Action (FIA).

Alongside her athletic pursuits in high school, Sarah was also in ROTC for
three years. She won an award for Most Volunteer Hours and was voted “Most Inspirational” in her graduating class among 400 fellow classmates! She also takes a particular interest in animals, having been surrounded by animals on her family’s small farm her whole life. She has had three separate internships at animal hospitals and doggy daycares. While participating in 4H as a younger girl, she had the opportunity to show various farm animals in both regional and state competitions. Sarah’s goal is to own her own rescue farm one day. Sarah’s mother wants young teenagers and adults to see that although Sarah is diagnosed with apraxia, an intellectual delay, anxiety disorder, and autism spectrum disorder (ASD), she is able to follow her dreams and lead a full, active life.
