GROUCHO’S DELI ANNOUNCED AS PRESENTING SPONSOR OF LOOK!™ 2025 PHOTOGRAPHY EXHIBIT
Annual Photo Exhibit Honors Children and Youth Living with a Disability
Family Connection of South Carolina is pleased to announce Groucho’s Deli as the presenting sponsor of LOOK!™ 2025.
A private reception for photographers, sponsors, and participating families will be held at 701 Whaley on July 13, 2025. Intisar Faulkner, of WIS-TV, will be the event emcee. The LOOK! 2025 exhibit can be viewed online at www.familyconnectionsc.org/look beginning July 13. The exhibit will be open to the public at the Belk Court at Columbiana Centre from July 15 – August 8, and will travel to venues across the Midlands and Upstate regions throughout 2025.
To create the exhibit, professional photographers from across the state volunteer their time to offer individual photo sessions with families who have a child or youth with a disability or chronic health condition. The inspiring photos capture candid moments of the participants doing the things they like to do best. This remarkable exhibit highlights the unique abilities and the beauty of individuals living with a disability.
Deric Rosenbaum of Groucho’s Deli shares why Groucho’s is committed to supporting the LOOK! photography exhibit: “We are honored to support Family Connection of SC and the LOOK! exhibit, both of which play a crucial role in recognizing and celebrating these exceptional young individuals. We hope this exhibit encourages viewers to reflect on and see disability from a new perspective. We celebrate the positive impact of the LOOK! exhibit on differently-abled youth and the amazing people within the organization.”
Amy Holbert, CEO of Family Connection adds: “Family Connection of South Carolina is deeply grateful to our Presenting Sponsor, Groucho’s Deli, for their generous support and commitment to promoting the LOOK! Photography Exhibit. By showcasing the talents and strengths of children with disabilities, we hope to inspire a broader understanding and appreciation of their contributions to our community.”
Sponsorship and donation opportunities are available at www.familyconnectionsc.org/look or by calling 803-995-1413. Funds raised from LOOK! 2025 will support Family Connection’s programs, resources, and services, which are offered at no cost to families.
About Groucho’s Deli:
Harold “Groucho” Miller came to Columbia, South Carolina in 1941 with a handful of original recipes for potato salad, coleslaw, and various salad and sandwich dressings, most of which were thought up during his childhood in a Philadelphia orphanage. These humble beginnings, along with the idea that “quality is the most important ingredient in a sandwich” are only where this story begins. Throughout the generations, Groucho’s Deli has held true to the idea of using only the highest quality products and ingredients, which has, in turn, led Groucho’s® to legendary status. Since Groucho’s first Franchise in Lexington, SC (2000), Groucho’s® has grown into multiple cities across South and North Carolina and Georgia. From Groucho’s humble beginning to expansion into new territories, the goal of each Groucho’s location is to be “Your Neighborhood Deli”.
