Family Connection of South Carolina continues to adjust outreach policies
Family Information Center Open and New Online Resources Available
(COLUMBIA, SC) – Family Connection of South Carolina (FCSC) will temporarily postpone in-person activities including trainings, outreach events and home visits due to continued concerns about the coronavirus virus (COVID-19).
“We are taking precautions in order to protect the health and well-being of the families and communities we serve” said Amy Holbert, Chief Executive Officer of Family Connection South Carolina. “While we are temporarily postponing face-to-face activities, our Family Information Center remains open to provide support, information, and referrals for families with children that have a disability or special healthcare need. We will continue to take referrals for our support services via phone, fax or on our website. Family Connection remains committed to serving and supporting South Carolina’s children with disabilities. We are still here for our families” said Holbert.
Family Connection’s Family Information Center staff will be available to assist families between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday at 1-800-578-8750 (English) or—1-888-808-7462 (Spanish).
