Disability Advocacy Day

The South Carolina Partnership of Disability Organizations (SCPDO) is proud to host its 36th Annual Disability Advocacy Day on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, at the South Carolina State House.  Disability Advocacy Day provides a unique platform for people with disabilities, their families, and supporters to come together and engage directly with lawmakers responsible for making crucial budgetary decisions that impact their lives.

Participants will gather at the North steps of the South Carolina State House. Sign-in will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the welcome, opening remarks, and speakers scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. The event will feature a walk around the State House, a rally, and inspiring speeches from community leaders, self-advocates, and partners. Join us as we raise our voices for change and seek solutions to the challenges facing the disability community in South Carolina.
