DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP: The Learning Engagement Coaches from the SCDE Office of Early Learning and Literacy work to empower families, strengthen communities, and help students succeed on their journey to kindergarten. Learning Engagement Coaches collaborate with districts, schools, and local service agencies to support families across South Carolina. This third lunch and learn literacy session focuses on beginning to write and recognize words through spelling patterns and blending letter sounds, and also beginning to identify high frequency words. Join us to learn how to improve literacy through spelling patterns, blending letter sounds, and high frequency words.
