Dakota has had an amazing six months. He was officially adopted, attended his first camp for deaf and hard of hearing kids, and began wearing double hearing aids. He also mainstreamed into his first general education class – math – and even just tested above average on the state’s gifted and talented test. He will be transitioning from the special needs soccer team to the general league, playing with his peers and living inclusively.
