Described as a fierce firecracker, Juliana is an extremely knowledgeable and talented girl. In everything she does, she gives 110% and settles for nothing less in life. Juliana’s lifelong best friend and service-dog-in-training, Ryder is a 1-year-old, 155-pound Harlequin Great Dane. Ryder is being trained to assist Juliana in feeling more secure and independent with her daily challenges of multiple health conditions including PTSD, ASD and ADHD. They go everywhere together. In addition to playing with Ryder, Juliana also loves gymnastics and swimming.
Always willing to put others before herself, Juliana is very altruistic. She is quick to donate to those who are less fortunate and in need. Twice a year, she chooses to go through all of belongings and donate to multiple organizations.
Juliana knows how to bring a smile to someone’s face. If her family or friends are under the weather, she will find a way to make them feel better by nurturing them or snuggling up with them and wanting to pamper them. Juliana demonstrates there is more to someone’s story than you might see on the outside. She teaches people to be kind to everyone. She is always interested in sharing and teaching others what she has learned. One of her favorite phrases to repeat after she shares new information is “knowledge is power.”
