With a happy, winning personality, Cortland senses the good in people and quickly wins people over. He’s also a boy of many talents. He is an innovative artist who draws and paints and has created a comic book series and a You Tube channel, among other endeavors–which include modeling and representing various brands in magazines and on social media.
When he’s not busy with school and his projects, he enjoys spending time with his grandma—especially learning how to cook. He loves making breakfast, and scrambled eggs are his specialty.
Cortland’s mom, Anja, says, “He is a ray of sunshine who will be the change we want to see in the world.” Cortland has recently been asking questions about his autism diagnosis. Anja thinks he wants to understand it so he can tell the world his own story. Based on his talents she says he could be a software developer, an artist, a lawyer, or even the President of the United States. The way Anja sees it, “The world is Cortland’s oyster.”
