Jerry is a carefree, happy, and loving teenager. His favorite things to do are listening to music, singing, dancing, swinging, and reading his braille books. A few of his accomplishments include speaking at the Spread the Word Rally at the State House and walking with the torch for the Special Olympics Spring Games.
Jerry is visually impaired and has a diagnosis of diabetes insipidus. Throughout his health challenges, he has remained strong and resilient and keeps his sense of humor. His hearing ability is amazing—and he makes his family laugh when he can repeat their conversations no matter how softly they whisper.
His family would like the world to know that Jerry is an amazing young adult who finds happiness along the path of life and is always ready to give a high five.
